Vanilla Bean & Calendula Tallow Skin Frosting

Enjoy our lovely whipped tallow infused with calendula and vanilla beans.  We call it skin frosting because it feels like a decadent buttercream (and it also smells edible too!)  We kinda think it smells like funnel cakes and we're not mad about it! 

All our tallow is from pure suet rendered in small batches from cattle born and raised on our family farm here in north central Ohio. 

After rendering, the tallow is slowly infused with the calendula petals & vanilla beans, cooled, and then whipped to fluffy perfection to give you an ultra hydrating and lightweight skin frosting.  

Apply to your face, neck, hands, butt cheeks, or anywhere needing moisture.  This skin frosting is great under makeup, just apply and give it a bit to soak in prior to applying makeup. 

Calendula is my favorite choice of herb for my skin.  I love the properties these beautiful flowers possess and provide, especially when infused into tallow.  Scented naturally with vanilla beans and with a small amount of an essential oil blend containing coffee CO2, tangerine, cinnamon, mandarin, coconut CO2, vanilla CO2, nutmeg, and ocotea.  The scent is very delicate and not overpowering.

Ingredients:  our farm raised & rendered beef tallow slow infused with vanilla beans & calendula petals, essential oil blend. 

Our vanilla bean skin frosting is available in 4 ounce glass jars and each jar is weighed to be sure a minimum net weight of 2.5 ounces of product is in each jar.  Weights may vary slightly as they are hand made.  

Glass containers are reusable.  Simply wash and fill with spices, your own balms, for canning, or more!  We try to be conscious in our containers and pick some out that would be great to re-use.

If you live in a warm climate and this tallow was shipped to you and melted partially during shipment, it is perfectly fine to use as is, or you can whip it with a hand mixer to return it to a more fluffy texture.  Unfortunately, we can't control the weather nor the temperature of your mailbox, so it does happen occasionally.  Either works fine!  Simply add some to your hands and work it to warm it up and grease yourself up.
