Beefy Pits | Magnesium Tallow Underarm Balm

Try our homemade underarm balm to nourish and take care of your sensitive under arm skin as opposed to harsh chemicals and aluminum!  Our beefy pits underarm balm naturally cares for and protects your skin while also naturally, and very gently, eliminating the stink with magnesium hydroxide.

Aluminum, arrowroot powder, beeswax, and baking soda free!

For our underarm balm, we only use pure rendered beef suet fat, rendered from cattle born and raised on our farm!  Some unrefined cold pressed coconut oil is mixed in for its natural antimicrobial properties and bentonite clay is added for its powerful detoxifying power and absorption.

For those allergic to coconut oil, we do have a coconut oil free version using kokum butter in place of the coconut oil available!

This recipe came about when I was desperate for a more non-toxic option that actually worked.  Post-partum Mom's understand!  I've tried recipes using baking soda, arrowroot powder, and with beeswax with no success.  Baking soda gives me a terrible rash, arrowroot powder clogs my pores, and beeswax based seems to just seal off our pits and really hold in that flavor.  (Not good lol) 

Our beefy pits underarm balm comes in 2 ounce plastic screw bottom containers with a lid and holds a net weight of approximately 2.5 ounces of balm.

To use:  slather on your armpits whenever you need it.  Reapply as needed, especially on extra stinky days. Store somewhere cool and dry as this product will melt  

If you've been using conventional deodorant, you may want to look into detoxing your underarm skin as well with bentonite clay or an activated charcoal mask to allow the natural bacteria that dwell there to repopulate.  Our charcoal tallow face bar soap is helpful for this also!

Ingredients:

Forest:  pure rendered suet beef tallow, organic cold pressed coconut oil, magnesium hydroxide, bentonite clay, essential oil blend (Douglas fir, cedarwood, juniper berry, cypress, spruce, patchouli, giant arborvitae)

Lavender Bergamot:  pure rendered suet beef tallow, organic cold pressed coconut oil, magnesium hydroxide, bentonite clay, essential oil blend (lavender, bergamot, peppermint)
